The Marvin Rammelsberg Distinguished School Counselor Award is presented to a person who best exemplifies the qualities of friendship, brotherhood, and humanitarianism that typified Mr. Rammelsberg’s life. Award criteria include the following: 1) a person in an educational setting who is dedicated to all regardless of their individual differences; 2) a person who actively promotes school counseling and professional growth; and 3) a person who displays exemplary leadership qualities and makes outstanding contributions to professional organizations.
